Just returned from SD on Thursday, 28 out 30 for us, About the same amount of birds as last year. Fewer crops in and in different locations as last year. I think that has a lot to do with bird numbers in certain areas. Our hot section last year didn't have a bird on it... no food for miles! Saw...

Good catch 1pheas4! It was the smallest rooster we've ever shot. I actually took a photo of it in my buddies hands to show the game warden in case we got checked. It had just the beginnings of a bump for spurs! It's coloring was very light.
