Late season has started off great on public land birds

I have lost 3 or 4 water bottles by thinking I had put it in holder in my vest. I solved that by putting a retractable lanyard on my bottles. Problem solved. It just took several years to figure that out

Was very surprised to see that most of plots land between Scranton & Hettinger were short on good hunting cover. Just wondering if the CRP contracts expired.

I had a pear Irish setters, they were dry comfortable. But they leaked after 6 months even when treated. I found out their warranty is only good for 6 months. While loved the boots I didn’t like having to treat them every time I went out

I talked to a rancher a couple of years ago & he told me people were posting their property as they didn’t like outffiters making money off their land

It was a nice finish to a good season here
