That's funny. Came out to Iowa 3 weeks ago to run dogs and would have had my limit with in 2 hours. And that was with 3 people and 3 dogs. North Centrak Winnie-Hancock Area.

Hunted earlier this year. Very wet. Lots of birds. This time of year cattails will be frozen so I would try them.

Was in the NC part of the state opening weekend. Between 2 of us got 12 birds in 3 days. Not bad. Seen lots of birds and talked to locals that said they had enough birds around.
