    Pigeon capture

    The best way I've found is to use a spotlight at the freeway underpasses after midnight. Tape a large fishing net to a pole and have at it. I've got as many as a dozen in one stop. Just be ready when the state patrol asks what's going on and never have a gun with.

    I used to hunt pheasants with a Beagle and probably killed more birds than most people. As far as I know there is no way to stop a hound dog from running, that's what they are bread for. People hunt with hound dogs, other types of dogs hunt with people. Keep her in thick cover so you can stay...

    Our new Pup.

    Pheasants are pretty expensive for training but there used to be a place just north of hwy. 66 on county line road in longmont. I use pigeons that can be caught at night with a fishing net. If you need a quiet place to train not to far from firestone let me know.

    I'm sorry to hear this about Logan. The only thing I can say is that if it gets serious give some thought to heading up the the vet clinic at CSU. I've had two animals there and they are simply the best. They can do emergency visits, an extra $90.00, but usually have openings for 1-2 days out...

    Weekday trips to NE Colorado

    I hunt Nebraska/Colorado border 1-2 week days per week. Lets you get 6 birds per day. Have two year old Lab doing well. Anyone interested in sharing expenses?
