    Thanks for the welcome into this newly found forum for me. I can see that this too is full of some asses that ride awfully tall on their horses. I apologize for shooting at your precious birds. I'll be sure to only post when I come home empty handed. :(

    Ya can't beat the Dighton area. I enjoy KS for all the WIHA and long bird season. I enjoy Dighton for the small town feel.

    I pass through often and I have a friend who does a little elk hunting on that side of the world but for me it's just passing through. Nice to meet your acquaintance Busta Wooster.

    Where have the quail gone?

    I actually got a few shots in on some quail north of Dighton in some WIHA around Shields. The area was not marked for quail so it really surprised my dad and I when they flushed. It was just a small covey; maybe 10 or so but hopefully it is a sign of things to come.
