Here in michigan, because we have Peninsulas, we have different start and stop dates. I'm in the lower peninsula and season here opens Oct 20 and stops Nov 14. Then reopens Dec 1 - Jan 1. These dates are for pheasant.

We plan on hunting public land. We also have 4 dogs, but i think we will hunt two at a time. The dogs are proven bird finders and dont mind heavy cover.
