Rukala heated gloves I found them on Amazon. They are thin enough for good dexterity and trigger and keep me plenty warm even on the coldest days.

Terrific. Mine just turned 6. I will be needing a pup in next few years and plan on getting another. Wonderful family dog and after a slow start has turned into a great hunter.

I know I’m handicap and follow my dogs on an ATV and it’s an 8 Hour Dr. New it would likely melt this week and if I could come back next week it would be easier to get around without a lot of snow on the ground. Are you still seeing birds after that initial heavy snow

Thx. Good luck next 9 days. Just talked to tow driver in town and he said 8 inches now down to probably 4. I wont hunt until Monday so with forecast probably okay. Just a muddy mess.

Was going to hunt in sw Minnesota north of Worthington starting Monday the 16th. Where were you in Iowa and how was the snow? Do not want to make the long drive if the snow is too tough to hunt or covering most of the grassy cover.

Plan on travelling from Illinois to Murray County Mn to pheasant hunt starting Monday the 16th. Saw a lot of snow fell early this week. Farmer said 6 inches. Can anyone update me on how much snow is still on the ground and how huntable it is before I make the long drive.
