I've saw a few nice broods on the western and northern side of the metro about a month ago. Saw quite a few baby turkeys too this past week. I think numbers will be up in Minnesota for pheasants.

Hunted near Willmar today and my hunting buddy pointed 10 hens. Was nice to have birds sitting tight. Didn't see any roosters. South Dakota numbers were better than last year for my group. We limited 3 of our 4 days and saw lots of roosters.

Our old dog had hypothyroid and took one pill a day for 9 years. Vets always wanted to check him even though his dosage never changed. Wouldn't give us medicine without the check.
