    20 gauge ammo for quail

    I’m thinking about going to 6s for quail. The last couple times I have hunted with 7.5s I have found quite a bit of shot in the birds while cleaning.

    I used Otto electronic ear plugs for a few years and like them. Last year I found out that I could use my HSA account to buy some SoundGear Custom fit ear plugs and they are really nice!

    Kenetrek fan here. I have a pair of Mountain Extremes that are 5 years old, with who knows how many miles and they are still going strong. I have worn them in all conditions.

    Pheasants and quail

    #5 for both. I have shot a bunch of quail with 5's and never had a problem blowing them up. Just give them a split second to get a little further before you shoot. #5 also pass through and I don't find shot in quail very often.

    I agree, WingWorks does make a great vest if you can order one. I check periodically and have never found that they are accepting orders.

    Another Final Rise user here. I bought one when they were first released and love it! I carry a lot of water for my dogs and it is really nice to have all the weight on your hips and not on your shoulders. The cost is worth it.
