hunted friday the 5th to Monday the 8th..... more snow north of 90. No shortage of birds. .... all days were a blast but saturday in the snow was amazing as always
I agree with Bob. Seems like cooler temps and a little moisture always bring out some pup in them. Even if its a half hr hunt. Do what she can and call it a successful trip
well the last 4 days has gone from 1 extreme to the next .... weather wise. typical minnesota for ya.... couple days in the snow with the black dogs then called a buddy from shortly across the border in SD to join for the last couple... very few bird hunters out. Lotta guys driving...
I was told long long ago. Do NOT miss out on hunting the first snow..... I'll never forget it. This young dog is starting to show his true character... and boy am I excited for what's to come.
Im sorry guys I should said the trip was the 24th thru the 29th. Not the opener. .... we use to do the opener.... one opener a year is enough for me. And at that I'll pry just do evenings from now on....
