Oh ya absolutely, I've been hunting grouse since I was a young boy. In the past few years I've also seen a big influx of wild turkeys. The nasty ice storm we had years back wiped most of them out but I'm glad to see they're coming back in high numbers!

Well, if I get a second dog I know which breed I'll be going with :cheers: I always wanted to have a good hunting dog.

Hello friend, I'm living around Ottawa area and have family and a cottage in Refrew county :)

This is my girl on the left (the Akita) She's amazing, really friendly and has a high prey drive. Akitas are bred to hunt but the breed is notoriously stubborn though, she won't listen if she's on the trail. My last option is maybe trying an e-collar :rolleyes:

This is my Akita #5 on the list. I can assure you she's feral and vicious, and always bites to kill :D
