For me it's all about the dogs! Love to watch their excitment and enthusiasm when we go out. It's what they where born to do. I wouldn't even go out pheasant hunting with out one of my dogs.

Hunt ducks and geese, but here in MN. it seems to get worse every year, the ducks are in the Dakotas. I'm deer hunting now, but if it wasn't for a budddy who hunts with me, I wouldn't go. What I really like after pheasants, is spring turkey hunting! Travel all over the country chasing them.

I hunt both. Public land is spread out thru the area. Some are better then others of course. You have to work for the birds on most days, but thats fine by me. I get the certificates for both my labs before I go to SD. Vet doesn't charge me anything for them, and it only takes a few minutes to do for each dog. The certificates are good for only 30 days though, so I get it done twice each season.

Went by that school house tuesday out there SW. of Eureka. Kind of makes you wonder where the kids lived that went to that old school as there not any places around. Must have been some a long while back.

I to shoot a Browning .16ga White Lightning. I love the way the gun handles and it is light so it's easy to carry all day if need be. I like to be a little different, and not a bunch of guys hunt with a .16ga. Shells can be kind of a pain to find sometimes.
