    what would you do ?

How many minds does a dog need besides one? Also I forgot to mention everytime you leave the WIHA area to get to your car you're trespassing. At least that's what the sign says.

    what would you do ?

When and doubt. Let it out. :D Also how could you be sly about it? LOL I like to get to the point and speak my mind freely because otherwise I'm just wasting mine and everyone elses time. I just think it's kind of absurd that someone would try to take a dog off point. If I even tried to call my...

    what would you do ?

Good god! How could you ever think about taking your dog off point? Wouldn't that cause your dog to walk away from a bird if you're talking to someone and tell them to come over here to flush the bird? Unless you use some other fancy words to tell a dog to come. Do they have laws against dogs...

    Greater and Lesser PC's

I don't know much about that area but I would talk to your outfitter. They're the ones who are suppose to know where the birds are if they're doing they're job right. Good luck and I'm still waiting on my male Prairie Chicken to fly by and hopefully not get shot up and then mounted...

    Prairie Chickens in Graham County?

We have a field out in the flint hills we hunt and they've always flown into this field and last year while we were walking to the spot they fly over we had a doe come running about 200 yards away right to us at about 20 yards and we were in orange camo in the middle of a cut milo field. It was...

    Prairie Chickens in Graham County?

Find a field they are feeding in and watch where they fly from. Then set up either where they fly over at or where they are landing in the field. Nothing like having a group of 100 fly right in on top of you. But the only bad thing about them is that they taste horrible. Good luck.

    Hot Weather

This weather stinks. The dogs could hardly smell anything it was so dry and it's some really hard hunting when you only have two guys to hunt some of the fields that are 160 acres and plus. In the morning we decide to hunt 160 acres of private land and got up about 10 hens and 1 or 2 roosters...

Sheesh - Still alive with #5?

3 1/2 inch BB's in a 12 gauge work all the time. Well for geese anyway. I really just always shoot 2 3/4 4's or 5's and it usually works. It's hard to see you guys nocking down birds with 7 1/2 though. But it can be done just a little strange to me. But whatever works works.

    Pheasants near Johnson County?

Look at the regulations book that's free at walmart and it should have a map on it telling you how far you're going to have to drive to see some pheasants. But I will tell you their ain't jack squat around Johnson County. Just head west and not north or south in eastern Kansas. Good luck.

    WIHA question

As long as you're in where the signs are I think it's legal.

    Opening day!

Saw over 160 pheasants in one field. But with bad shooting and losing cripples. We didn't limit out, well I didn't limit out and the two other guys didn't. Also the dog was amazing today. She had a ton of lock up perfect points. Almost all the pheasants held pretty tight. In all today was pretty...
