  • Have you gotten your pup yet from Steve? Elle made it through her first season doing quite well. It was fun to watch her develope and improve each time out. By the end of the season she was figuring out those pheasants. Doing a good job of tracking the runners and steady on point when they would hold. She was retrieving but I would have to say a little weak in this area. I have been working with her on a trained retrieve program since Jan. 1st and I think she will be just fine. I am going to run her in some NSTRA field trials this spring. I'm in the trials more for the extra training and the fun of it, not to be competitive at this time. But it will be interesting to see how she does.

Elle, is a very good looking dog. She is a well muscled and solid dog. She is probably a little larger than average at about 42 lbs.

I don't think you ever answered my Sept. message. I'd like to kow where you are located and if you have your pup.

Hi, My pup, Elle, is doing great. She's 10 months old now and turning out to be a pretty good sized gal. She's probably 19 - 19.5 inches and weighs about 40 lbs. She has been easy to train although I wish I had been able to work with her more. There will be a lot of OJT this fall in the field. If I feel she needs some work in some areas I plan to get her to Steve for training next year. Have you seen the latest picture I posted of her?

Are you getting a pup out of Brady and Annie? That's my dogs sire and dam. My buddy in Pueblo, CO is first on the list for Brady and Annie's next litter. Where are you located?

    George
