One thing to think about... If you would like to in the future breed your dog I believe it would be easier if you had a female. If you have a good hard hunting male and want to breed it you might have a problem finding another person with a female who will let your male breed with their female...

In my opinion it's not the first weekend you need to worry about it's the last weekend when folks that haven't filled their tags start taking questionable shots.:eek:

Does anyone know if UPH will have anything at the convention. It might be a good place to get the site a little more exposure and more members.

I'm going to try and get out west on Monday, hopefully the Snow will still be around. There is nothing better than hunting pheasant with a nice snow on the ground. I do hope the winter isn't too harsh though, with bird numbers already down the pheasant need some favorable conditions this...

I went out Wednesday to the Hillsdale area in eastern Kansas and got a nice deer. No trophy or anything but an 8 pointer counting the small brow tines. I shot the deer about 4:45 pm and had it field dressed in half an hour, I made it back to the truck at 11:05 pm after dragging the deer more...

Check out the posts from Mrbyrd. No rain, hot as hell, doesn't look good for the birds. I would go to S. Dakota, it is closer and the best pheasant hunting in the world. Check out some you tube videos of south dakota pheasant hunting. Last year I could recommend KS, but this year doesn't...
