    What Shade of Sun Glasses

Amphibia Eyegear makes glasses leaning more towards the fishing industry, but they are amazing for hunting. ANSI Z87.1 impact rated frames and lenses, fully polarized to knock down glare (meaning you get the same effect as dark glasses without being blind) and for the waterfowl guys in here...

    Franchi Instinct

I have several franchis, including an Instinct L in 20, and a renaissance in 12. The instinct is a dream to hunt with, crazy light and mild recoil. Not a huge fan of the 28" barrels on a 20 though. Both of my doubles have the auto safety, never had a single issue and ive shot the 12 a lot...like...

    Patternmaster Anaconda Choke

After digging a bit I think im going to go with trulock precision hunters. I agree with the warranty and trial period. I have had good luck with briley but IMO they arent what they used to be.

    Patternmaster Anaconda Choke

They are steel safe with exception of the full tube. I have patterned them and they are mediocre at best. My other shotguns all have aftermarket tubes. Small price but a big improvement.

    Patternmaster Anaconda Choke

Hey all, Im shopping for a new set of tubes for this years season. I do a lot of pen raised pheasant hunting with steel shot, some wild pheasant hunting with lead shot, and occasionally some close/mid range duck hunting over decoys. Has anyone tried the Anaconda series of tubes from...

Once I figured out what I wanted, I scoured ebay and saved $40 on the LL Bean. Deals are out there, you just got to do the legwork

Pointers late season in tall cover

In my opinion, Its just as much the dog as it is the training. Of the 2 Brits we have currently, one ranges different than the other. But both have been taught to stay close, esp in heavy cover. One female we had would point a ringneck on scent alone, we were pretty new to the bird dog game and...

    Hunting Hills Kennel, Brainard NE

Anyone have or know a dog from Kris and Jeff from Hunting Hills Kennel? New to the breed and am seriously looking at them for a puppy. I know they are highly respected in the NAVHDA ring and among other breeders. Thanks in advance!

My go to load for 12 ga is the Fiocchi Golden Pheasant. Also the high velocity variation is outstanding!

    Late Season Trip Ideas

Ive never set out on a trip with quail as my primary target, but in KS ive sure busted a bunch of them pheasant and turkey hunting. Also NE seems promising if you want to stay closer to home. I am headed up there in early Dec for a pheasnt hunt and after talking to the area biologists and local...

Stone Creek Hounds Hunters Choice Chaps

Hey guys (and girls), Im going to share my recent discovery and experience with a small business out of Hesston PA. I was looking to try out a pair of chaps for the upcoming upland season as I have gained a little weight and my brush pants dont fit right anymore. I dug and dug looking for the...

    Boots

After years of aching feet due to cheap or improper boots. I just punched the ticket on a set of Irish Setter Wingshooter 838s. There are a ton of reviews, and most of the bad ones are due to improper use. We will see how they are afteer they are broke in.

    Best upland hunting strap vest

Hey Dalex117, I was in the same boat this summer and actually tried out all of those for a couple days except the WingWorks one. I also tested the LL BEAN vest, and the Badlands Vest. I cant say that any of them are bad, but I liked the Browning one the least. When the dust cleared I settled for...
