I'm not sure if you're still looking but try Howard Cole out of Middleton. I got my dog from him and so have several others I know. Great dogs but they are bigger than the breed standard. My female is 52 lbs and she's not fat.
I talked to a friend of mine up in the NW corner of the state and he said that they are now finally able to get back in and start taking the corn off. I'm headed to Iowa next week so I'm hoping for most of the fields to be opened up.

I live just South of Madison and had poor luck this year hunting in Wisconsin. I have to admit that I don't hunt as much private land as I should and will start knocking on doors to gain some access.
