Pheasant outlook
Looking at a one day stop over in Iowa this season. Is it as bad as the reports say. Visiting a friend and would like to hit the dirt for a day. Any tips and advice would be welcomed. Thanks
Rock,
Thanks for the info. You pretty much summed up all my questions at once. I heard good and bad so I figured it was worth a try. I have a young dog so any chance to hunt him is a good day.
Just got my permit for hunting the Joliet training area. Has anyone ever been out there or know much about the area. A coworker recommended this so I was willing to try it for the $25.
I'm looking to get a tune up on the pooch before I get out for some pheasant this year. Does anyone know or recommend someone in the will or Kendall county area? He is a two year old GSP with training just looking to reinforce some of his skills with live birds that I don't access to. Thanks,

I'm a fan most definitely. Only get to go a handful of times though. I have a two year old GSP that I have been working with. Awesome pheasant dog so hopefully he will impress with waterfowl this season. Time will tell.
