Unless friends ask me to go along, I generally don't hunt waterfowl. Main reason: nothing for dog to point. Watching a good retriever can be enjoyable, but for me it doesn't hold a candle to watching a bird dog work cover. Secondary reason: waterfowl doesn't taste all that great to me...
