    Is it worth it?

Only reason to go to SD is get started early. I prefer ND and Montana.

    A/T Tires

Dynapro ATM's are quiet, good when wet, acceptable in the mud and snow. Toyo Open Country quiet but not as quiet as the ATM's, ATM's better on wet pavement, the Toyo's are better in the mud and snow. Can get 10 ply in both. It's been a toss up for on these two for me lately, but I'm going to...

Plans for the Remains of the Season?

Kinda neat when a pup locks down that first rooster, second day out my 11 month old got his first rooster. That was back in November.

    Mountain Lion in Rooks county

I know the Sheriff and he wouldn't give up much information. Just said there was one less up there. I'm sure they are investigating, but they could just go to Kansas Hunting and Fishing and get all the answers, lol. Probably won't get the whole story for a while.

    Tennessee guy looking for pheasant

It's been a strange year since we've had so much moisture delaying harvest and making some areas inaccessible due to muddy roads. I'm not really sure that we have a certain part of the State that is hot, but birds can be found if you get boots on the ground.

    Mixed Bag

Probably a good you didn't harvest a furbearer out of season. Awesome pic.

    English Setter Found

Exactly what I do, but I get them from Double U.

    Mixed Bag

Nope. Saw him running the milo and the farmer traps and usually has his heelers so his dogs ran him down and the hole he found kept his head exposed. I keep my dogs away from them. My veteran dog pointed a coyote last year in some milo, heck he's pointed all sorts of critters.

    Mixed Bag

Been a while since we put one of these on the tailgate. My veteran dog had to stay home due to stitches so the pup got to run solo. It was a good experience for him.

Yeah tough on tough dogs. Ranger out a couple weeks. Bandit is healed up and ready to roll.

Do it. GSP's are great dogs, I've been around them my whole life and really understand them. My veteran (the darker one) tends to leave people in awe and my pup (now 11 months) is doing things it takes years to learn. I wasn't taking pics when my pup had the find, wanted to make sure the bird...

Kansas Pheasant hunting T-shirt artwork idea

Both really nice. Maybe add a rock post as a exclamation point after the KANSAS on the 2nd one.

Kansas Hunting History - Quail Stamps and Upland Game Stamps

ND had stamps, I remember my grandpa taking me to Scheels to get my stamps. Waterfowl, upland, furbearers, and federal waterfowl. Deer was a draw by mail.I know I still have them and wish I would have valued them more.

    Truck/Van Rental

How about an SUV? The dirt roads can get pretty slick and rutted up, I wouldn't go out without 4wd. Pickup with a campershell is the best, but I doubt you'll find a rental. Remember if you leave a dog in a vehicle for too long to crack a window.
