    Dog Killer

Now that could be a profitable business venture if you sold it as a green, clean-technology. You could call it Swinelyndra.:p OKIEGunner – Glad it turned out as it did and that neither you, nor your hunting companions met up with this beast in close quarters. This has become a concern of...

    Dog food allergies

We’ve had good luck with the Wellness brand after one of ours started having what seemed to be a food intolerance issue. Not the symptoms that you’ve defined but might be worth a look.

    Bordetella Vaccinations

The treatment that the vet gave was an injection of Gentocin (u/k dosage) and 12 days worth of Primor (u/k MG), plus some other meds for inflammation. The symptoms seemed to dissipate significantly within about two days.

    Bordetella Vaccinations

We used to get our dogs vaccinated against Bordetella but not anymore. In 2005 we had both of our dogs vaccinated. Within a few months our male contracted it and had not been kenneled, nor had he been around any other dogs, other than our female. We finally figured out what was going on and...

    Wiha sign posts

From what I’ve read and have seen, the property should have the “No Longer Enrolled in WIHA” signs posted if it has been removed from the program; not the normal WIHA signs turned around. I suppose that there could be instances where the situation prevented the timely posting of the property...

    Wiha sign posts

I ran into a somewhat similar situation a few weeks ago. There were WIHA boundary (corner) signs that appeared to match what was in the Atlas. However, there were very new looking “No Hunting” signs posted in between the WIHA signs. I came across another property that had all the WIHA signs...

    This weather!

Cottonmouths in KS? I wouldn’t have thought that they would be an issue there. That is one mean snake that will come looking for a bite. I had too many close encounters with those guys when I was a kid.

    The Best Upland Hunting Jacket

Merry Christmas to all!!! I picked up a Smartwool Microweight and Patagonia Capilene 2 base layer shirt that were on sale earlier this season. These are great for keeping you warm and dry under your shirt and jacket. These are the lightest weight they have and I found that the Smartwool is...

    Wings Works Hunting Vest

I like it and probably won’t ever wear it out. I can’t make a comparison between the two materials since I haven’t actually seen the Cordura vest. I will say that I could have gotten by with the Cordura just fine and would have liked it all the same.

    Yes, I purchased one.

    Wings Works Hunting Vest

Ordered one earlier this year and have been using it this season. I really like this vest and would recommend it. One of the problems I’ve had in the past is having a good place to secure my jacket when it came time to shed a layer and the WW vest provides that and more.

    Kenetrek gaiters

Have not used that brand but I have a pair of Outdoor Research for winter and a pair of REI Desert Gaiters that I usually wear while in the field, unless there is snow, then the OR brand. I’m on my third season with the REI gaiters and they are still holding up well.
