I've got a 2011 standard cab dodge ram 4x4 with the hemi. Last year I drove it from the Brookings SD to Hot Springs SD last August and got 17.3 mpg. Coming back I got 17.9 mpg. Of course it varies on how much wind, hills, etc.
Thanks for the info guys. It sounds like there are more birds around there than around here. My brother in law and his son in law were thinking of doing some pheasant hunting when they come to South Dakota but won't have much time so travel will be limited.
I went out for a while, saw one bird the whole time. It was a young rooster and I got it. I hate to say it but I did better than I thought I would. I've seen 2 hatches of pheasants around here all summer.
