I need a way to carry birds on the top of my suburban. A basket makes it too tall to fit in my garage, I came across this contraption and it looks kind of handy but I can't find a place to buy it and their web site is down. Anybody know of where I can get one?
We should call electric cars what they really are...coal powered cars...the people that think electric cars are really clean are the same people that think the grocery stores grow steak in cellophane wrappers without hurting animals.
Personaly, I'm waiting for natural gas to become more available at filling stations. It works in all internal combustion engines and just needs a conversion kit/tank. It's domestic, cleaner and cheap. Bring it on!
I just got back from taking my pup out for her first waterfowl hunt, I hadn't done it in about ten years and now I remember why. Everything is soaking wet and covered in the most foul smelling mud on earth not to mention the game tastes like a sweaty shoe. I would save the 2k myself.
Hanging is like ageing beef. The longer they hang in a controlled environment the longer bacteria has to break down the tough parts of the meat into a tender juicy morsel. Gross idea I know but most of the meat you get in the store hangs for a while and is an accepted practice.
I have to say that until last year I only tollerated hunting boots, never really found a pair that felt good. I cringed when I paid $300 for my mendiels from Cabelas but they are absolutely amazing. It is a pleasure to wear them I even looked for them in steel toe so I could wear them to work.
