I used to have a britt. that would fetch to hand naturaly he made some labs look bad. he was the worst hunting dog I ever owned,,,he couldn't find a pork chop laying in the middle of the road, but he had no problems diving in after them and bringing them back.

I'm heading up by Jefferson this saurday to try my luck again,,,i have not seen any huns this year and I have been on the look out for them.

I live in southeast central and birds around here were iffy at best. I hunted mainly north central and north west central and had some good luck there. I'm gonna try to get out a few more times this season,,,,its been fun as usual,,,but not as good as I was hoping for.

I hunted quail down by creston 2 weeks ago I moved one covey in 4 hours of walking,,,i didn't take any as I just didn't want to destroy the covey. if I would have moved more covey's, I would have taken some.

man I tried to hunt today from noon until about 2:30. the wind was just brutal, saw a few birds but they were pretty flighty just kept flushing out of gun range.
