Pointing was dismal. Was very windy a few days and made for some difficult situations. Many dead birds took some searching even with 2 dogs on it. Not sure if it was the high heat (70's) or the general dryness.
I thought there was quite a bit of Milo around and yes the birds were feeding in it, but never been there before so I don't know what is normal? Talk about waste grain though on the ground where it was.

Just remember that if the Feds do it....They do not care about Pheasants one bit. Just spent some time talking to a life long wildlife biologist. Pheasants are considered Exotics in the eye of the Feds and they can not spend any money managing exotics. There work is for native species only...
