Went out to Mitchell today and looked for some rooster on public land. Didn't see one pheasant all day except a couple in roadways. What are the rules regarding road hunting? Is public land around Mitchell ever good, or is it a waste of time?

I shoot mostly 2 3/4. Its an 1170 but i still think its the oring.

I was in Flandreau the other day. Just got back..it was a succesful trip. Got 13 birds with 6 guys in a span of a few hours. However, after my first shot the shell would not load correctly and I would manually have to load a shell after each shot. Any suggestions...oil, oring? not sure

there is alot of walk in places around mobridge. that will give you lots of options but not sure of the birds around there.

The walk in areas updated on the website or just on the gps download? It would be nice to see if there were more walk ins around Sioux Falls.

Just a college student who does a lot of walleye fishing on Mille Lacs. Want to get in to hunting more, have done some pheasant hunting in MN but not much. Any Tips or public lands around Sioux Falls that are good? Any recommendations welcome.

I don't have a dog accessible to me unless my dad comes to visit. Does that make a difference?
