I really like my Danner Gtx Covey rise boots, They are the most comfortable boots I've owned. My only complaint is about the gortex on them leaks a little but im not the best about caring for boots as they should..

Sam is the red one and duke "RIP" was the yellow one with a limit of kansas roosters in 08. The second pic is of my labs last year in south dakota, Tess in the yellow, Jax in the black and Sam in the red.

I have had a Tri-Tronics Flyaway G2 Exp for two years now, Have used it for upland and waterfowl hunting, no problems at all. Great collar.

I know around colby they have been running for almost a week in some places and they guys where I hunt said that if it doesnt rain they should be done friday..

I just got back from South Dakota last night, had a great time even though the hunting was tough. But it was great to get some dog work in and get a jump on the pheasant season! Saturday can not come soon enough for me!

It has changed hands but the steaks are still good, I belive its still the same name too. We will be stopping there on our way west friday to have a steak and a cold beer for a few.:)

I hunted one day west of hutch last season on public and private land. Moved two coveys of quail and quite a few pheasants might be worth a shot.

I think we all at one time or another have exspected to much too soon out of our dogs at an early age, like the others have said keep putting him on birds and try to make every outing fun for him. Most of all let him be a pup!

I talked to a custom harvester that I used to work for lastnight, He is in Redfield and just started cutting beans again lastnight. He said he has cut 4 days this month, not a good sign for the crops being out anytime soon:(

We use that model in texas when we are down there quail hunting. Very nice product, comes in handy in big country! I think you would be pleased.
