I was wrong about us hunting in watertown. We actually are hunting castlewood. We had our first hunt today and had a pretty good day. We killed 20 between the 8 of us. I was pretty please for my first pheasant hunt

Thanks for the input. I'll be leaving in 2 weeks from today. Maybe the colder weather will bunch the birds up. I'm still looking forward to it anyway. It should be a good experience

Well that's a little discouraging. As for choosing Watertown, that was a decision made by the guys that got the trip up. I'm just tagging along......

I will be heading to the Watertown area in 2 weeks for my first pheasant hunt. Just wanting a report on the bird numbers and how the hunting is. I've heard the numbers are down and don't really know what to expect. Any advice or suggestions would also be appreciated. Thanks
