    Easy pheasant recipes?

This is quick. Take one or two breasts. Slice them against the grain of the muscle, (approx 1/2 in). Dip them in buttermilk and let them chill in the fridge for 10 min. Take approximately 4 cups of cereal ( corn flakes/total, etc). Place the cereal in a one gallon zip bag and crush them...

    Need help

Got a call from my son last night. He wants to hunt with me near State College (where he is a Jr at Penn State). Now my problem is where to hunt? If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I'll be heading up early Saturday. Thanks for whatever info you can pass on.

    Game Time!

The ticks that I am seeing are also the small black ones. I have seen several deer ticks. Glad you had a good day. Hope to get out of the office for an hour if my schedule permits.

    Game Time!

Just curious, anybody else having as much trouble with ticks on the dogs. Even with the medicine, I am pulling ticks off of Sadie for 2 days. Read an article, which states sometimes the shear number of ticks can overwhelm the repellent.

    Interesting that PA Stocks pheasants

Pgc The PGC does overall a good job. It attempts to balance deer numbers to appease the farmers, foresters, and insurance companies (as well as the hunters). As one can imagine, this is not an easy job. As far as the pheasants, I think they are a quality bird. Anybody that hunts them in PA...

Who's going to hunt in the snow?

My son was home from college. He wanted to bird hunt. Beautiful day. Put up 3 birds, killed one. Birds are not holding well, but sure was better than sitting at home. Steve

    Get Together

I'm sorry guys. I did inform some of the guys on another post. Unfortunately, I blew my knee out approximately 8 weeks ago. I had an MRI, which indicated that I had severe arthritis. Possibly as a result of limping, I apparently reinjured an old back injury (spondylolisthisis). I am...

    The Big Day!

OK, I'm jealous. The pictures are terrific! Congratulation on your success. I did venture out. It was absolutely packed in our area. My buddy and I went to a Pheasants forever property. We were the only one there, but no birds were seen, with the exception of 3 deer. Later we went to one...

    The Big Day!

Good luck everyone. I haven't been on the site for a while. Unfortunately, I blew out a knee, and exacerated a pre existing back problem sooo, my plans are to go out and last as long as I can. I am still hoping to arrange some sort of get together hunt, if everybody is still interested. Steve
