Hunted Public on Saturday.. last year saw 50+ birds, saw 2 this year. Got the one young rooster off of public. Sunday hunted my place and limited out in the first 20 minutes with two old football birds. Looks like my winter cover helped, but birds are WAY, WAY down. Off to SD this weekend...

Its tough to teach something that isn't genetically there. Your issue is two fold, she doesn't 'hunt' and when there is action she wants to go blow it up. I can handle a dog that doesn't hunt, I can't stand a dog that hinders my ability for my good dog to work or someone else to get a shot...

Best natural dog was a male Golden Retriever named "Fred" from Frisbie Kennels, best all around dog was a female black Lab named "Cody" from Dokken Kennels.
