How did you all fare out on your sage chicken hunts?

I'm about an hour west of Farson. I have been finding them on the leeward side of the sage draws and the little grass meadows along the tops of the drainages as long as there is water in the drainage.

We have been getting a few down my way. Where you located Steve?

Hi all, I have always dabbled in hunting grouse and waterfowl & made a few trips to central Wyoming each year looking for roosters with minimal success (no dog), same with finding chukars. Hunted in SD this year and was absolutely blown away, I'm addicted. Had labs as a kid, but no bird dogs...
