    Protocol on splitting up the birds?

    We hunt with the same 4-5 guys year in and year out. Always split up the birds evenly. It is a team between pushers, blockers, shooters and dogs. It really is not a big deal to us. Memories and fun are the main focus not dead birds.

    Just returned from hunting in the Huron area. Lots of corn out there. Last half hour was when the birds came out. We had our best luck in CRP that was not surrounded by corn (obvious but true). Had some great spots that were surrounde by corn...very few birds. The birds are there but so is...

    I know on our land around Huron the corn is great 17-20% moisture, and yields are fantastic. Combines are startin to roll in the corn. Things have dried up nicely according to our renter. Looking forward to a great hunt this weekend...will report.

    I am a teacher and coach and we have a wrestling tourney "Rumble on the Red" over Christmas in Fargo. Will be my first trip there!!!! We own some land around Huron (homesteded by my Great Grandfather)and our renter is getting some corn out! He is pretty good about leaving a few rows for us...
