    Good to hear! I hope you have good luck this year too. As far as the limit in the two states; from everything I've read it would be illegal to take a limit in both states on the same day. So I'd say don't do it until you've done some research to be on the safe side.

    I know they are just going through the roadside counts, but does anyone have observations on how successful the birds were for the nesting season? Saw a lot of hens last year at the end of the season. I hunt mostly the north central/northwest part of the state.

    We hunted the Forest City area and it was tough going. Lots of snow. Maybe 8"+ then add in some drifts. Got one bird right away, after that we saw a ton of birds but too far out. After three hours we were wiped out. Dogs did great, but there sleeping now. I should take the hint!
