Farm house camp You're absolutely correct, later, colder, snowier is the best hunting hands down! Don't recall any comment about January availability. Good area and great thickets. Hunted that area 16 yrs ago and did very well. Usually stay in old motel in Norton but you got my interest...

thanks for the welcome JMAC. pheasant hunting around here has become a land owners eliteism. hard to get on. walk in areas w wyogf are available but pounded pretty hard. locals even figure out when wygf trucks leave the bird farm and wait for them to drop the birds off. its ashame because...

I live in Sheridan and there allways leftover anterless elktags in areas around here. Dont have to put in for drawing they are over the counter first come first serve.

Very sorry to hear about ur loss. Once I lost a beautiful black lab (Barney). was hunting near rr tracks and train killed him. horrible sight. took me a year to get over it. I know the engineer saw him but nothing he could do. I felt real bad for him too. will never hunt that area again...
