I'm shooting an old model 24 16 gauge mod and full.

I've been looking for years for the perfect pair of upland pants. I've come to believe that they don't exist.

Definitely the new Fake A5 or at least that's what we call them.

It would be interesting to see if they bring it out. I have a couple buddies that got the new 12 gauge A5 when they came out and they weren't really impressed. They sure don't make them like the used to. I'll stick with my old model 24.

Hevishot is about the only thing you will find in a non tox load for older 16 gauge gunsand it's pricy. I still have some Kent tungsten that I use but they stopped making it in 16 gauge.

I used my 16 gauge model 24 exclusively this past trip to SD. I was using Kent Tungsten #5's when I needed non-tox and it is deadly!

Seems strange that if its your first year using PS that you would use that screen name....

In my experience hunting ducks, steel typically tightens your pattern more than lead. So using a mod with steel is really like shooting a full choke. I really have to worry about it when hunting pheasants because my old model 24 is choked full and mod and only gets tungsten down it when I...
