    Weekend plans

Planning on hauling the boat up to Blue Mesa for some Kokanee fishing/catching. Weather report says the wind is supposed to blow pretty good but it kicks up at noon almost every day anyways.

Garmin Astro --Should I get one?

I purchased a DC40 last year to help keep track of and locate dog in that chest high CRP. Works great, no issues at all. Now after using it a season I wouldn't want to be without it. Where's dog? If you have an RV or camper you can stay at Prairie Dog State Park just west of Norton. The motels in Norton look about the same to me. We stayed at the Brooks Motel last January and it was ok. Lots of land...

    Yet another from Colorado

BleuBijou, Thanks for the welcome. The past three years we have spent most of our time in Norton, Phillips, and some in Smith counties. This year the snow has messed up a couple of our favorite spots so I might try around Ness county next time out. The best hunting I've had this year was by...

    Yet another from Colorado

Been reading this great site for a long time and decided to join. I live near Colorado Springs and have been an avid hunter and fisherman all my life. I am owned by a good Weimaraner and we make several trips to Kansas each season. Plan on making at least one or two more trips this season. Good...
