Carbon fiber rib on SBE3

I have been looking at a SBE3 in 28 gauge. I see it has a carbon fiber rib. Anyone have or hear of any issues with that rib on a gun you may knock around some?

My 28ga Ethos has the carbon fiber rib. No problems through 3-5 SD trips.

Of course I don’t use it as a jack handle or to hold down the top wire on a barb wire fence either.

Normal hunting use…no problems IMO.

My Benelli Ultralight 12 and 20 ga have Carbon fiber ribs and I’ve not had any problems with them. The 12 ga has been banged around quite a few times and no issues.

Thanks. I don’t really think I will ever use the 3” option and I have a Franchi 48 AL I really like, but this gun is calling to me.
