We’re here hunting…epicenter was about 4 miles from where we stay…I think a 3” 28 gauge did it! On a serious note, one of the guys with me is my gunsmith, and for lots of years he shot 15,000-20,000 clay targets annually. He handled my red label 28 last nite, and talked about his that he shot extensively for sporting clays at various venues in the twin cities; he said with just .003 of constriction, he absolutely smokes the high tower presentations that are very long shots…he’s won so many competitions it would take a long time to list them. A believer in the 28 gauge…but he’s historically been a very gifted shooter, but he raves about the patterns and overall efficacy of the 28 gauge. Additionally, the gunsmithing work he does in amazing…stock making in particular for double guns…wow. Talented guy…
