Sad Day at our House!

This morning we had to put down our beloved Brittany, Bree. She was just 9 years old. She had been having some lower back issues but suddenly this past week it really got worse. She was having trouble walking and hadn't eaten in days. We could tell she was in pain and her breating got more labored. We suspect she had a cancerous tumor that was spreading. It was a tough decision, as they all have been in the past. We will morn for days to come but time will heal. I do not plan to ever get another dog at my age (soon to be 80) so will never have to go through this process again.May 2022 - 2.jpg

My condolences I know how hard it is and my yellow is 12,so I'll have to face it for the 5th time and it doesn't get any easier that's for sure. I think you should reconsider getting another dog though, I would want to have a dog even in my 80s.

So sorry George, Bree was a sweetheart. RIP Bree. I

My condolences. I think it’s harder to lose a dog than a parent or close relative. The dog gave you everything they had never asked for much. I lost my old setter at 14.5 little over a year ago. I had a photo done in pencil art. It hangs on my wall with his collar and some other special memorabilia
