I have the desire to add 2 old Browning's to add to my safe when the opportunities present themselves, but I am not in a rush.
I would like to find a BSS and a Sweet 16. The BSS is my first acquisition target. I figured this forum would be a good spot to start in the event someone has one that is being underutilized or if any comes across one that they don't "need" for themselves.
Additionally, I am looking for feedback from fellow BSS owners. What I want is a nice, but not too nice to carry gun (95% - 97% condition). I think I want 26" barrels with mod/full chokes, but seems to be less common. I also would like a factory 14.25" LOP. I have never had a straight stock gun, but aesthetically, these look nicer to me. I assume I can adapt to it in the field over time.
Please share feedback if you think the earlier guns are better and why, and also if having selectable triggers is crucial in your experience if you own one.
