Cedar bedding

Ive heard that dogs can lose their nose if allowed to lay on cedar bedding ... I was thinking about cedar ribbon bedding --just wondering if anyone uses this for their dogs.

I would use pine or straw. google it should have data on the cedar.

Found this not sure if it is credible : cedar shavings contain phenols, which are very hazardous compounds. It can affect their respiratory system and cause them difficulties in breathing and scenting.

not everything moe but if someone studied and tested then it must be somwhat rue kinda like all the politicians and the weather man
