Me and Maggs were out looking for roosters today and we found 2 and one stayed behind.
It's been such a fun year and Maggie has exceeded all my expectations and continues to improve every trip out. I have heard many of you say that the best way to train a bird dog is to get them on wild birds and I have become a strong believer in that.
We might try and shoot a few quail this month but the pheasants are pretty much safe from me these last few days..
