Mild weather hunting

I would never own a dog that doesn't point. It's a prerequisite. Seeing a dog lock up on an unseen bird is the biggest joy of the hunt. Everytime I see it it amazes me.

Ill never own a pointer and horse but would love to try it once. I see them out on the SD grasslands on the grouse opener and it looks like a blast.

Do what you can to try it once, it’s a great experience. The best part is the view!

We had a wire hair when I was a kid.Great dog. We did a lot of duck hunting, and some pheasant hunting.

Dang what a strange fall eh? I was out yesterday in a t shirt cleaning birds and swilling brew.
