that is why I shoot trap with a field gun, even though several of my shooting buddies give me grief and say that it isn't a real trap gun.

If you are looking for a skeet/sporting clays gun.

I would suggest a 12 gauge X 28" O/U for skeet/sporting clays. The Citori is a fine gun, but I find it a little bulky and heavy. I prefer an auto-loader, which is fine for skeet, but limited at some sporting clay stations that present close in and extended target presentations.
