I just want to vent about hearing the same news every year in California. Right now its about the freezing temperatures in the valley and the potential damage to citrus grown hear. NEWS FLASH, if freezes every year in the valley. If citrus growers can't deal with it they should grow another crop or move their operation south.
Next it will be rain and hail while the alomonds and stone fruit are blooming, again THIS HAPPENS EVERY YEAR! ITS NOT NEWS!.
Then there will be the stories about staying hydrated when temperatures reach 110. Then it will be about roads being slick after the first rain and damage to the raisins on the ground and cotton not yet harvested. Then a storey on driving safe in the fog and finally we will come full circle with the freeze damage to citrus.
Are these things really "news" when they happen every year at the same time just like clock work?
